Air Museum
Fayetteville, Arkansas

Investigation Date

November 8, 2008

History

The Arkansas Air Museum is an all wood hanger built in 1943. It was built of wood because of the war-time shortages of metal and the abundance of wood in the Ozarks. It was originally housing the University of Arkansas College Training Detatchment air craft. In 1986, it became the Arkansas Aviation Museum housing everything from early 1920's airplanes to more modern jets.

Weather

Cool and partly cloudy

Notes

This was a POI investigation. They invited APRA to attend with them.

We split into two groups, one group investigated the back part where the airplanes were displayed. The other investigated the front part of the museum, which included the library, gift shop, and the displays. There was a mix up and another paranormal group showed up to investigate. They were very loud in the parking lot, slamming doors, talking loudly, scratching on the windows. This made any audio we collected during this time unusable. When the groups were about to change rooms, a call came in and there was an emergency at home so the APRA investigators had to leave.

Personal Experiences

Several investigators reported seeing a shadow in the next room. One investigator's digital voice recorder flew off the couch arm. It was unclear if it was knocked off or flew off by itself.
